I felt bad for lying to Austin about checking things out at work. I had no intention of doing that. I had already texted Bella and she said she would have things handled for now and to just check my emails for anything that I would need to be done personally. Instead, I was doing research. Everything that has been happening has been confusing Austin and I can tell he is about to lose it, so I wanted to make sure I at least understood everything. I kept thinking about Charles and I don’t know why. He seemed familiar and knew a lot of information about the family and the drama that surrounded them.
