Amelia nervously drove towards Clark’s neighborhood. She tried to keep herself calm and relaxed while rehearsing different lines in her head on what to say to him once she arrived.
Finally, she saw the familiar tree-lined street that lead to the Lewis’ residence. She parked the car on the opposite side of the street, parallel to their driveway. She gripped the steering wheel and peered cautiously to check if he was home.
