The next day, Amelia felt giddy, excited, and afraid at the same time. Clark had driven her to Kate's house and he stayed for a while just kissing her and talking about anything and everything. Amelia didn't want the night to end but Kate texted:
Guys, I can hear you making out all the way here in my bedroom. Get a room!
Amelia and Clark laughed and finally said goodbye. He assured her that it was going to be all right tomorrow and that they would take it a day at a time especially where her brother is concerned.
