Jake’s POV
The second I heard Star yelp I felt a wound open on my back causing my heart sank into the pit of stomach, I could only pray to the goddess that the knife hadn’t been laced in poison. Getting to her as quick as I could Hunter gave me back control so I could shift and pull the knife from her back. I watched as her Stars back healed letting out a sigh of relief knowing it was only a silver knife nothing else. Suddenly, a silver wolf flew into the man that stabbed Star tearing his throat out before knocking his now limp body aside. I couldn’t believe my eyes; I knew silver wolves existed at one point in time, but they were thought to be extinct.
“Moon Protector” Hunter told me, I bowed my head to it as a thankyou and a sign of respect.
