I briefly remember how I got here. I had been shot and I thought the bullet had gone through but I couldn't get the bleeding to stop. I remember Alexie helping me and I remember him talking to someone. That person had a lot to say and not good things. The room is dark. The thick curtains are shut but I can feel the heat coming off them. I peaked through the corner of a curtain to see it's still very early in the day.
After a shower and a change of clothes, I decided that eating is a must. I don't want to but I probably haven't eaten in a while.
