Everybody was celebrating our victory in the ballroom, and I had no qualms about joining the fun. There was laughter in the air, and everyone had a smile plastered on their faces.
Unfortunately, Tamara and Dane didn't join us in the ballroom, but I couldn't blame Tamara for not being up for a party. If the tables had been turned and Emily was the one who got injured during the attack, I wouldn't have wanted to do anything but spend time alone with her.
There was a delicious spread of food laid out for everybody to enjoy, and enjoy I did.
