Chapter 16
Como stood on the opposite side of the mirror with Midnight, Sky, and Rey watching as Law walked into the interrogation room with Shaw. Como hated that Kenner had gone to Tanner’s to look for the wings, and help try and find evidence of who was behind the mishaps with the ranch.
Como sniffled, doing his best to hold back his tears from the need he felt deep in his soul for Kenner to be here with him.
The man who had attacked Como at Tanner’s place, sat there chained to his seat with his hands handcuffed behind his back, not moving a muscle.
Como felt a deeper sense of sadness at the sight before him, but dared not say anything. He didn’t understand his empathy towards the man, but it was there. Heck, if Como could, he would go to Cadmael and unchain him… make him comfortable
