“You shouldn’t have done that Delilah.” I heard Juices voice as I stepped through the the front door. My boots muddy, the dust of the road clinging to my skin and clothed. I froze.
“He’s my brother.” Delilah sounded defensive. “What was I meant to do.”
“Say no, he’s using you because he knows you worship him. He totally played you Del and you let him.”
“Double is going to go bat s**t crazy when he find out…”
I stepped into view, and three faces turned to me in shock. “What am I going to go crazy over?”
I watched as Delilah turned her face away, a sure sign that she had done something she knew I wouldn’t like.
“Dominic came….”
Delilah’s eyes blazed as Minute told me what had gone down when I had been gone. And I knew she was going to give him hell for telling me.
