Joop stood on the bank of the lake, still reeling from how many people had arrived. When Gladys had told him that his and his friends’ parents would be arriving with some other friends, he hadn't expected to have over a hundred people arrive. However, here he stood and that is exactly what he was seeing.
Ricky walked over to Joop with a large smile, saying, "We got more than we thought to help."
