Once Austin is gone, and I’ve taken a shower, I meet Jake in the lobby. “Hey Rachel. You’re up early today.”
I look at the hour on my phone, he’s right. I was too busy thinking while getting ready to even check the time. “Hey, Jake. Yeah, I was woken up by… something unexpected.” Something that I thought about over and over, in the shower.
