Reena POV:
Everything felt so wrong. I sat on the edge of my bed, debating on what I should do. I had this deep gut feeling that something was off. I don’t know what it is, but I couldn’t shake it. A sense as if I was being watched. For the first time in my life, I didn’t feel safe inside my own home. Everything in me wanted to call him and hear what he had to say. I wanted to be at his house, lying in his bed. I wanted…no, craved the safe feeling I got when he was near. I looked around my bedroom, lit with only the glow from a small night light. I had never craved someone like this, and I didn’t think I could fight this feeling much longer. It was as if there was this invisible force yanking at my heart that would inevitably lead me straight back to Atlas. Would that be so bad, though?
