Reena's POV
I had never been a people person and definitely didn’t do house parties. I had never even had a beer, let alone been drunk. Atlas said we wouldn’t have to see any of them, so that was good, but of course, I couldn’t stop myself from overthinking the entire situation. Did he want to attend the party being held at his house? Does he usually attend? Is it because of me? Of course, it’s because of me, I thought to myself. Is he embarrassed by me? I glanced down at my clothes. Well, they were a little worn, especially compared to his, I thought as I glanced over at him.
“Just because I’m going to be there doesn’t mean you have to miss the party,” I told him as I looked out the window. “Did you want to go to it?” his question caught me off guard. Maybe he isn’t embarrassed by me. G
