Noah hears the garage doors open, and his heart nearly stops.
“Alicia!” He rushes out of the study and into the garage, just in time to see her pull out of the driveway.
“ALICIA!” He waves his arms through the air, but he can’t see if she looks back.
What the hell is she thinking? Where could she be going? Their parents come running into the garage, and he tries to call her, but there is no answer.
“Did anyone say something to her?” Mrs. Bartlett looks at all of them, but none of them have an answer until the conversation he just had with his dad runs through his mind.
