"Happy birthday baby." I say to her as I plant a chaste kiss which I intended to plant on her lips but changed my mind and end up planting the kiss on her cheek.
I look at her, only to see her face flushed and I can't help but smile as I walk out of the building to get the gift I got her.
Getting to my car, I pick up the small box containing my gift and glance at her bag and phone which is laying on my car's seat.
"I'll just give it to her." I mumble to myself and a message pops on her phone's screen.
A message that sets my blood boiling.
