The captain and I left Karina at the beauty parlour and we went to talk to the priest to officiate our wedding. He was nice guy. He was younger than I had expected but he was very wise.
He said that marriage is not something that should he rushed into and that I should take time to think about if this is what my future wife would have wanted, a surprise wedding.
The fact that I will be everything on my own without her concern. I mean this sounded like a great idea at the time and after all the questions the Padre threw at me I wasn't so sure.
He said that if it were up to him, he would make us go through some marriage cancelling first. So that he can see where we are at in our relationship. I can see that he made a lot of good points.
