“So, you’ve gotten closer to him, but not really?” Ashton asked me, trying to understand everything.
Honestly, I was surprised by how well he was taking everything. I came here with Abby and Easton, and Ashton was already here so he joined us. I looked ahead of me, watching Easton walking with Abby. She looked…dejected. She wanted to go to the mall with Easton, to get her mind off of everything. Honestly, I was surprised when Abby suggested I come too, but then again even depressed she was trying to help Easton and me, and I had to admit I was starting to warm up to her more and more. I’ve known Abby all my life, since she’s a third in command’s child, but we were never close. She was always a little emo girl, and Elizabeth made fun of her for it even when we were kids
