Dear Alexis,

 I always knew that you would find this letter. I saw you many times in my visions. I saw you as a baby with your mother. Your hands were so small, and you even tried to grab my hand with your teeny tiny fingers. In this moment I knew that you were something special. You were able to see me in a vision, which meant that you would have the same powers as me. As I saw that Irena will carry my child, I wanted to keep you save with all my power. I continued to work with my shifter friends and nearly got Irena killed as I discovered Luises secret. Another vision showed me Irenas death with you still in her tummy. A series of events always lead to a future event. Interrupting the flow of these events will change the future. Therefore, I decided not to fight against Luise and tried a different approach. I knew that one day she will come and try to take Irena from me because I knew about her plans.

 I saw my end in a vision and I knew what to do.

 I did a lot of research and found something really interesting. I discovered a loophole in the blood oath spell that Luise always used. The oath is bound to the blood of the person who is involved, which means that no harm will come over the Irenas blood, which means also partly your blood. This discovery encouraged me to let the vision unfold, to die for Irenas and your safety, to protect you from harm. I am not sure to which extend her blood oath involves you but I am sure that she can’t kill you with her own hands. You are strong Alexis and you will lead the pack wisely I am sure about it.

Evil is coming your way my child. Luises plan involves killing one thousand humans to cast a spell, which brings back her first love. The spell is called one for thousand and needs a special planet constellation to work. Moreover, she needs one thousand human hearts for the ritual.  She has spent the last years with recruiting supernaturals for her army and she is searching for potential humans to harvest.

I would have stopped her, but I was too selfish. I wanted you to live and grow. I knew we had time until the conditions were right for the ritual, so I decided to do what seemed best.

You can stop her. I know it.

 On the bottom of the letter were nine planets standing in one row.

We sat there in complete silence and stared at the letter.

“So this was all part of Andrews huge mastermind plan?” I asked and tried to lighten the mood.

More silence.

My mom started crying and Nathan comforted her. We were all speechless and sad.

“Okay, I want to read the letter again please. I need to think about the content.” Dereck said.

I pushed the letter over the table into Derecks direction.

After a few minutes he stood up and said: “Guys stop moping and listen. We know now what happened and we know about Luises crazy plan. We have to act and stop her. Who is with me?”

His statement woke me up “I am, and the whole pack will be part of it. First of all we need a plan. Nathan you have to organize a scouting mission. We need to know where Luise is and how many creatures she controls. Moreover, find out what kind of humans she searches for. My mom will do some research on the possible human victims, you know checking their social media, google and so on and maybe we can find a connection. There must be a pattern. Maya you have to set up a research team. I want to know everything helpful about every supernatural on earth. Strengths, weaknesses, how they can be killed and so on.  Dereck you will help me. I want to find out more about the blood oath and how it affects me. Furthermore, I want to know exactly when the next planet constellation will be and do more combat training. I want to be prepared for the worst”

Dereck always brought up the best in me. Without him I wouldn’t be able to lead my people. I wouldn’t be able to come closer to my inner wolf. I needed him and I hoped that he needed me as well.

The others argued about possible members for each team and I didn’t know what to say. I never saw any of the shifters fight, nor did I know any of them well enough to help with this decision, which made me a little sad. They were loyal to me and I wanted to be part of their family, their culture and their lives. I had to get to know them better. They all seemed to be eager to start with their operations and I made a final decision. “I want to train with all of the shifters, one by one I want to learn from their techniques and get to know them better. We are one family, so I want everyone to feel this way as well.  Therefore, I want you Maya to copy the letter a few times and display it where everyone can read it. I want all of the shifters to get ready.”
