Five years later...
"Thirdy, Rusell, Earl, come on! You're gonna be late," tawag ni Stephanie sa triplets.
"What's our lunch for today, mommy?" masayang tanong ni Thirdy.
"Beefsteak with mushroom and gravy , buttered vegetables and chocolate cake for dessert," nakangiting sabi ni Stephanie.
"Wow! Thanks, mommy," masaya siya nitong niyakap at pagkatapos ay tumakbo na papunta sa van.
"Mommy, I don't want cake, I want ice cream," nakalabing sabi ni Rusell.
"Fine," dumukot si Stephanie sa bulsa at iniabot dito ang pera, "Buy some for your brothers too."
"Thanks, mommy," masayang tinanggap ni Rusell ang pera.
"Be a good boy, okay?" she reminded him.
Tumango ito pagkatapos ay nagtungo na sa van. Narinig niya pa ng ibinida nito kay Thirdy na ililibre ang kapatid ng ice cream mamaya.
