CHAPTER FORTY-TWO
Norma stood in front of the palace gates.
The queen suspended her after what happened and made her go home to keep things low. After the incident at the tea party, she came back home empty handed and found out that her father left her youngest brother at the orphanage.
She immediately ran towards the orphanage after discovering that he was placed there for a month already and that the money she was sending to her family is all gone and used for gambling.
By the time she arrived the orphanage, she was told that her brother ran away together with another young orphan.
“Why didn’t you watch them?!” she screamed at the caretaker who was sitting on his desk reading a newspaper.
“Stop making a scene here. It’s not our fault if your brother ran away,” the man lazily told
