I opened the door to my apartment only to find scented candles lit up and rose petals scattered on the floor. Kakauwi ko pa lang galing sa kung saan. I was clearing my head and I turned off my smartphone. Nang mag-umpisa nang umulan sa labas ay naisipan ko na na umuwi.
Standing in the middle of my apartment was Keith, wearing his chef uniform. Napatingin ako sa isang tabi at nandodoon ang mga luggages niya. He smiled at me and walked towards me, as I stood there, not knowing what to do.
"Surprise..." he awkwardly said before pulling me close for a kiss.
Kaagad kong iniiwas ang mukha ko. "Anong ginagawa mo rito?"
"Maja... I..." He sighed. "Today's our monthsary, right?"
"May trabaho ka pa, 'di ba? Dapat hindi ka na umuwi," I coldly replied.
