Chapter 5

"Care to explain?" I interrogated them as soon as we entered the basement.

I had a long queue of idiots in front of me. They were all silent and couldn't even raise their heads.

"And why the hell are you being hounded by that scumbag g**g? Huh?! Duwag ba kayo?!" I said, frustrated. Ako lang ba nagsasalita dito?

"They have guns!" Kale exclaimed.

"When did you become terrified of guns?"

No one responded once again.

Bumaling ang atensiyon ko kay Ino

"Anong kagagohan yun, ino?" I asked.

"What do you want me to do?! Tumunganga habang inaahas yung girlfriend ko?" he said right in front of my face.

"Don't you dare shout at Aqua!" Sigaw ni Kale at akmang susugudin si Ino but But I motioned for him to remain where he was.

"Your girlfriend is truly a s**t; I've been seeing her all around kissing boys! Una pa lang sinabihan na kita, pero hindi ka nakinig kasi tanga ka!" I challenged him, and it hit him hard. He is ready to erupt at any time.

"Ulitin mo nga yung sinabi mo."

I stood firm and said, "Malandi yang girlfriend mo."

He was ready to strike me nang bigla siyang sinuntok ni Kale.

"Bastos ka!" Kale grumbled.

He stumbled on the ground and laughed. "I'm f*****g tired of this! Ikaw na lang ba lagi ang masusunod?!"

"Then go," I simply stated. at pumunta sa discussion board. Kinuha ko ang profile ni Ino at pinunit sa harap nilang lahat. "As of today, Inoue Carter will no longer be a member of Diez; he has been dismissed."

"No problem with that. Aalis din naman ako sa walang kwentang grupo na 'to." He stated this and walked away, closing the door behind him.

"I'm very dissapointed." I said and left the base.

I flopped myself over the table pagkapasok sa classroom. Wala ako sa mood pumasok pero pinilit ako ni kuya dahil gusto niya raw masolo yung bahay. Bwesit siya.

"Oh 'bat parang ang gloomy mo today 'te?" Xia asked while applying make-up. Binalewala ko na lang ang tanong niya at binaling ang tingin sa kabila pero mas nasuka lang ako sa nakita. Si triton na nangungulit ng babae?

Wait...

Diba siya yung babaeng kasama ng bestfriend niya nun? Don't tell me...

Sandali akong napaisip. Tama ba yung iniisip ko? Nevermind.

Wala akong magawa kaya I opened my phone at naglaro na lang hanggang dumating yung homeroom teacher namin.

"Crystal, Abi, and Triton, will you kindly come to the front and solve the problem written at the board?" Our teacher demanded. Buti na lang, hindi ako ang nakita.

"Triton, kahit anong panood mo sa dalawang nasa gilid mo. Magkaiba pa rin yan ng problem kaya wala diyan ang sagot. You need to solve it on your own." Pangaral ni teacher kay Triton na parang tangang pinapanood sa pagsolve yung dalawa. Parang gago, nakakatawa.

"Pfft..." Pagpigil ko ng tawa.

"Aqua? You must have known the solution; can you assist Triton in solving it?" asked the teacher. f**k.

Lumakad ako papunta sa harap. Nagpipigil pa ng tawa ang mga inutil kong classmate. Sarap sakalin.

"Ang bobo mo kasi." I whispered at Triton.

"Edi sagutin mo." He whispered back.

"Kinginamo."

"Shut up."

"Excuse me? Anong pinagbubulongan niyo?" Tanong ng teacher

"Yieee!" Panunukso ng class.

"Shut up!" Sigaw ko sa klase and they mutated into crickets.

And because of that mas lalong sumama and modo ko hanggang nag dismissal. Gusto kong sapakin lahat ng nadadaanan kong tao palabas ng gate. I need to refresh myself, in other words, I need to smoke.

"Saan ka pupunta 'te?"

"Anong nangyari dun?"

"May dalaw ata?"

Sunod-sunod na tanong ng tatlo nang tumalikod ako at lumakad pabalik ng school. I opened my phone and texted them na mauna na lang. Baka sumunod pa sa akin.

I went to my usual smoking and stress-relieving spot. Luckily, walang asungot kasi kung meron baka hindi ko kayanin at masakal ko siya. Anong pumasok sa kokote niya at sumama siya sa amin kagabi?! I haven't seen any of the guys today, and wala ako sa mood para makita sila. Ang akin lang naman ay sana ipinaalam nila sa akin ang gagawin. Nagmukha akong tanga na pumasok sa eksena na hindi alam ang problema.

I cleared my mind and threw the cigarette butt on the ground. Before I left, I made certain na nakapatay ito.

Before leaving, dumaan muna ako sa classroom para kunin ang librong nasa locker ko. I remembered may quiz pala kami sa physics next week. Damn it. Wala na masyadong tao sa hallway dahil malapit na curfew.

Dali-dali akong pumasok sa classroom at hinalukay ang locker ko when I suddenly heard a strange noise. I came to a halt and listened more intently. Someone appears to be crying sa kilid ko?! All of the lights have been turned off, and it's already a little chilly. My battery is dead, and only the moonlight passing through the window illuminates kaonting liwanag. I'm not afraid of ghosts, and the only people who scare me are my parents.

Dahan-dahan akong naglakad papunta sa pinanggagalingan ng iyak.

"Hello?" I asked incase classmate ko pala 'to. Lumapit ako at inaninag ang mukha niya. Wait!

"Callisto?" I exclaimed as I noticed an ugly crying face. Tears streamed down his cheeks at nahahaluan yun ng sipon. Kadire!

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" I asked him. Naamoy ko ang alak, tama nga ako. There are empty bottles of soju next to him. Why does he cry every time we meet? Ang yabang, iyakin naman pala ang puta.

"Please help me... My heart is broken into pieces, and I can't mend it because the missing piece is gone," he sobbed.

Anong pake ko sa heart pieces niya?! Ang daming alam gago, nandito lang naman ako para kumuha ng libro.

"I'm out of your way, lover boy; I'm here to get my book," I said as I stood up and left him alone. I was looking for my book when he grabbed my feet. I was so surprised that I accidentally kicked him at medyo napalakas ata kaya tumalbog siya at nabangga sa pader. My bad.

Nahanap ko na ang pakay ko kaya naglakad na ko palabas ng room pero biglang may yumapos sakin mula sa likod. I didn't see that coming, f**k.

"Let go of me." I asked nicely.

"Please help me, please." he begged.

"Fxxk, let go of me bago kita masaktan."

"I won't let go until pumayag ka. I'll do anything, kahit bugbogin mo pa ko araw-araw. Just please help me win Crystal."

"Tanginang buhay 'to! Okay, fine let me go first." I said, because i no longer can stay in that position. It creeps me out, ugh!

"Thank you so much! I'll see you tomorrow, Aqua!" he said while I was walking my way to leave. Huh! As if I'll help you.

My conclusion was right. He is in love with his friend's girlfriend. That's insane, bruh. Ano 'to? Some sort of romance movie? Well, hindi ko na problema yan.

"I was waiting for you." Kale said when I was about to pass by him.

"Sino ba nag-utos na hintayin mo ko?" I inquired as I started my engine and drove away without looking back.

"Let's talk, look I'm really sorry." Sabi niya nang mapantayan niya ako. As I've said wala ako sa mood na kumausap sa kanila. Baka kung ano pa masabi ko.

"Aqua, please let me explain." He said at mas binilisan ko pa ang pag-drive hanggang makarating ng bahay. Ang bagal pa ng guard sa pagbukas ng gate kaya nahabol niya ako. Tangina naman.

"Shut up, bukas na tayo mag-usap. Wala ako sa mood, okay?!" I blurted out.

"I'm sorry, have a good night," he said, his shoulders slumped. I walked through the gate without saying anything to him. Pumasok ako ng gate without responding to him.

"Next time, open the gate as soon as I arrive. Got that?!" Sigaw ko sa guard. Bagohan pala kaya ang bagal kumilos.

"Hey, sister! What's with all the yelling? You look like a cute grumpy cat, meow!" my obnoxious brother exclaimed as I walked into the house. I despise it when people call me cute.

"Oh, please don't get me started," I said as I walked towards the stairs. I despise him completely!

"Oh, please don't get me started." Panggagaya pa niya.

Ignore him, Aqua. Remember, talo ang pikon. I kept myself reminded dahil baka makapatay ako ng ipis.
