“Nothing,” Elissa said.
Alejandro just let that go, even though he heard her whispering something. He started explaining to her again what had happened.
“It was a misunderstanding, my mother is now mad at me,” Alejandro told her.
Elissa was relieved upon hearing that, so she was not losing her job. She could still work on the farm as Alejandro’s secretary. She still has a chance to prove herself.
