My father-in-law said goodbye to me after he finished his breakfast. I heard the sound of his car outside as he drove away, and I let out a loud sigh. I gathered the plates from the table and placed them in the sink. I cleaned the table first before starting to wash the dishes. It had been weeks since my husband boarded the ship. He was still able to call us a few times until eventually, the last call got cut off due to a poor signal. Even though we used to argue, I still pray that nothing bad happens to him and that he doesn't get sick. I also hope he doesn't get into fights with his crewmates on the ship.
