I can feel the big lumps in my throat. My eyes were popping out in shock. I was caught off guard.
"What the f**k?" I cursed silently.
He stared at me, stony-faced.
Trevan was whispering something to his daughter while caressing her back, seems like calming her.
Maybe she got petrified with the loud sound when something exploded.
I looked down to Louvre, I hold her tightly. I lifted up my eyes back to him again.
"s**t, I thought something happened to Avria," Vielle said from behind.
Louvre prodded me, she was looking at Trevan too. I glanced at her, she pointed her twin sister.
I stiffened as het gets closer. I maintained being impassive.
"What are you doing here?" I asked in my usual tone.
I pursed my lips to stop myself from stumbling over words.
