BE STRONG LITTLE GIRL

One of the male elders stepped forward and said. "It's about your youngest daughter Alpha. We want to remind you, that It's part of our law, to submit our young ones to our local government office to registered their name"

Hearing those words, Alpha David frowned and kept his mouth in a silent mood.

The Pack had been suffering for a ten years because of him. They were so terrified that they wouldn’t dare to challenge him. He was Alpha for a reason, after all. And here Kamilah was, a high school dropout, trying to raise her little sister. Thankfully, her mother had everything prepared for her arrival before she passed away.

For ten years, Kamilah made everything to survive, the life of her little sister. She gave her everything, because the Alpha did not help her with anything. Luckily, some of the pack members' give Kamilah formula, oats and some give Kate a breast milk.

As the Alpha hated her sister, the pack members loved her, they did not hate Kate or Kamilha. They felt sorry for Kate so they would sneak me tins of formula and nappies. This is a very well-known concern issue to all pack members. The unity, love and their support made Kamilah successful, in raising her sister.

But the challenges of Kamilah's life, seems to make her suffer even more. Her little sister Kate got sick, and she have no money to send her to the nearest hospital. So she decided to ask her stepfather for a little help but he declined. Aside from that, he blamed Kamilah, why her sister getting sick.

"I entrusted your sister to you, now if she dies from that disease, you will be responsible! You will crawl in front of me to ask for a second chance of your life! Remember that!"

"But Alpha, my sister Kate got sick because she didn't get her vaccine when she was little, and I also didn't think that she needed some vitamins for her growth. I am not aware of it! I am so sorry.." Kamilah cried in front of him, then she knelt down to beg for mercy, and hoping that his heart will be soften even in a little bit for the innosent little girl.

"It's your job to know her basic needs. Then why are you asking me for help? It's your fault, so find a way!" he growled.

"Okay, I'm leaving.." Kamilah cried a lot, as her heart aches. Kamilah ran from him, with tears streaming down her face. When she returned at the back of the pack house, she found Kate shaking, sweating, as she was lying on the bed, and she didn't know what to do first.

"Kate, you're strong right? Fight this sickness of yours okay? be with me till my last breath. You have to stay with me! no matter how bad it is, hear me please.." Kamilah told her.

Since she didn’t have anyone to turn to for financial help, Kamilah ended up borrowing some money from a couple who owned a bakery in town. She knelt before them and promised she would pay them back as soon as she could. They were kind enough to lend her the money, but later on, she found herself unable to repay them right away because she needed more funds and some time to take care of her sister's needs.

Kamilah landed a part-time job at 18, working at a bar where she earned a high salary. This allowed her to buy the medications that the doctor had prescribed for Kate. Later did she know, the couple she had promised to repay right away had already filed a complaint with Alpha David.

"Stop..! please! stop!" Kamilah beg for mercy, cried a lot in pain. Her hands are marked with scratches and blood, her face bears its own wounds, her back draws countless lashes, all did by Alpha Marvin, who punished her for keeping a secret. And the floor is groaning from the amount of blood dripping from her body. This was happened within two hours inside the secret basement of the pack house.

"You've made me be embarrassed in front of others. Now you made me pay your debt?!" his questionable voices echoed in the entire room of the basement.

"I will pay the total amount, including the interest that I owe. I promised! just please stop.!" Kamilah beg, her voice was hoarse from screaming to plead. After what she said, Alpha David leave the basement right away without any words. Since then, he hasn't talked to Kamilah anymore.

And when Kate turned five years old. The two elders of the pack came to visit. After they proved that Alpha David treated Kate and Kamilah indifferently.

"I have many things to do, that are more important for the pack. However, I have my step daughter Kamilah. She will handle everything she needs to comply with." The Alpha replied.

The elders turn their gaze at Kamilah.

While Kamilah just bowed down in a silent manner. The two elder couples knew that there was nothing she could do. Kamilah just thought that there was a reason why this was happening. But she appreciated their effort, and concerned.

"In that case, dear Alpha David. I will expect your step daughter to come to our office, for some papers to sign. We are leaving now, and thank you very much for your time." the elder who stepped forward first said.

"I have all my love and support to my wife, not until Kate was born. My love for my daughter turned to hate. I know you want to hear that from me." Alpha David suddenly explained. Both of us was terrified after hearing those words.

"My Dear Alpha. We didn't mean to hurt your feelings." one of the elder female said.

"You may not be able to say it, but I know your thoughts. Soon you will realize why I am doing this" Alpha David said. Honestly, Kamilah was shock to hear it, as if she didn't hear anything, and remained calm, she has to be strong, for her sister.

After the short meeting the elders leave the pack house. Right after the gate closed, Alpha David turned his gaze on Kamilah and said, "Just one more mistake, and I might kill one of you."

Kamilah know it was not just a threatening words. But it was a final word that she must avoid now. But suddenly she remember, she didn't lock the door of the house where she left Kate. During the meeting, Kate heard EVERYTHING! what Alpha said. So when she turned at her back, she saw Kate cried, hiding herself behind the big statue, looking terribly at Kamilah, while she covered her mouth with her little palm.

Oh! my innocent little sister. My heart aches with so much pain, fear to fail again.

Since Alpha David didn't even bother to register Kate as his legitimate child. Kamilah registered Kate following her Mom's family name and her middle name. Kate was so excited when she found out, and she was expecting more.

Kate was old enough for school at five, Kamilah enrolled her and started looking for a regular job so she could provide her needs. It was not much, but it was better than having to ask or beg to some pack members for anything she needed.

Kamilah shook her head at that memory, before looking down at Kate who is ten years old now. She was playing with her father's necklace that hung from her neck. The necklace had a face of male wolf with fangs on the other side.

Kamilah's father died when she was two years old, she did not remember anything to him. But her mother used to tell her before, how loving he was, but after Alpha David took them in when she was seven, her mother stop talking about her father. However, Alpha David did not want to hear about her past life. She was his mate, but he always thought about the betrayal that she had a child with someone who was not her mate.
