Brady changed inside the bathroom, tugged his cap low and strolled out. Standing beside Savina's bed, he leaned down. "Well sweetheart, off to another boring day at the office."
She chuckled weakly. "You look superb in that uniform, Dimples. If you didn't get demerits for being late, I'd jump you."
He touched his lips to hers. "Great idea. I'll hold you to it."
"Brady." Umangkla ito sa kanya. "Mag-ingat ka. Bumalik ka para sakin."
"I always will. Siguraduhin mo lang na maghihintay ka sakin pagbalik ko."
"I will be." Anito at muli na naman niya itong hinagkan sa mga labi nito.
Brady had to clear his throat before he could speak. "Mahal kita, Savina."
Bigla naman itong napahikbi ng iyak. "Matagal kong hinintay na sabihin mo sakin 'yan. Mahal din kita, Brady."
