It’s funny how someone can feel so familiar and yet be a complete stranger. I stared out the window as Ralphael drove, the city blurring into streaks of light and color. My lips still tingled from his kiss, and my thighs were sore from straddling his lap in the car just minutes ago. My body was still reeling from his touch, but my mind—my mind was somewhere else entirely. I didn’t expect to feel this way. This wasn’t part of the arrangement. The deal was simple. Clear-cut. No emotions. No attachments. No expectations. We both wanted an escape, something physical, something temporary. It was supposed to be uncomplicated. But somehow, with every look, every touch, every teasing smirk he threw my way, things started to shift. He started to seep into the cracks I thought I’d sealed shut.
