I end the call before throwing the phone on the bed. Pagod na pagod na ako. Buong araw akong nakipagpuyatan sa business meetings, sorting contracts, at pakikipag-coordinate sa team ni Herrera para sa bagong acquisition. My body felt heavy as hell. I loosened my tie, unbuttoned my shirt, and tossed it to the floor.
Pagharap ko sa salamin, napansin ko agad ang faint red lines sa dibdib ko. Calista's nail marks. Fading, pero nandun pa rin. Damn. That woman was wild. She surprised the hell out of me sa kama. Hindi ko inexpect 'yon sa isang babaeng tulad niya—mahinhin, soft-spoken, and laging nakayuko sa umpisa. Pero noong gabing 'yon? She turned into someone I never thought she was capable of being.
