Hero and I were both lying on a separate sun lounger while letting the sun kiss my skin, and Hero's fur. I was reading a novel with the sound of the crashing waves as my background music that kept me calm. I looked at Hero who was already asleep.
I quietly chuckled and put the book aside to stare at him. In just five days, he was already able to adapt well. He knew how to stroll around the mansion and even walk here on the beach where I usually find him playing with his ball whenever he's nowhere to be found inside. And after he played under the sun, he would stay inside a centralized room to keep himself cool.
