DL 10: The Battle

Vile POV

We are heading to Mt. Makiling right now. Ok naman na 'yung sugat ko. I'm so lucky that there are some sorcerers in our guild who are studying medicine.

They are not like me. I'm different because I can heal wounds without leaving a scar.

Unfortunately, I can't heal myself. It's an irony right? Ok lang naman. The more important thing for me is to serve our guild. It's very important for me to be a protector for my friends specially for Zion.

"I hate this place, nakakapagod maglakad. I can transform into a dragon to fly quickly," Wanda said.

"Sige, para kapag may nakakita sa'yo sa taas, yari tayo," Sabi naman ni Sandra.

"Where's the stone with a symbol of our guild?" Dexter asked.

"Yeah... Kanina pa tayo dito. This mountain is so huge. I think I can't do it anymore," Rex said.

"Ok... Then, go back to the guild! We don't need you here!" Zion shouted.

"I-I'm sorry..." Rex said.

Zion walked fast away from us. I think I already know why he is acting like this.

"What happened to Zion?" Jester asked.

"Oo nga, mukhang mainit yata ang ulo niya," sabi naman ni Jared.

"Hmmm... Please, pagpasensyahan niyo na lang si Zion," Magalang 'kong sabi.

"Why? Do you have an idea why he is acting like that?" Wanda asked.

I nodded...

Bigla silang sumiksik lahat sa akin. They formed a circle around me.

"Tell us," Sandra said.

I sigh...

"Hmmm... I think it's my fault. I had a nightmare and you already know it right? I can feel that he is really bothered because of what I told him," I said silently.

They are just looking at me. I can't look in their eyes. I really feel bad.

"Hey, I can hear all of you ok? Vile please! Don't think that it's your fault. I'm not acting like this because of you. Just concentrate in finding the weapon," Zion said.

I feel something hot on my face. Nakakahiya... Oo nga pala, naririnig niya ako.

"I'm sorry..." I said sincerely.

We continue finding the magical weapon. We should find it already. I know that it's a dangerous weapon so we should protect it.

While walking, I saw that Zion looks tired and thirsty. His shirt is also wet because of his sweat.

I got a face towel from my bag and a water bottle.

"Hmmm... Zion, uminom ka muna. I know that you're thirsty," I said.

He just looked at me with his poker face...

"Thanks..."

Kinuha na niya ang tubigan ko at uminom siya.

Pinunasan ko na lang siya ng face towel habang umiinom kasi pawis na siya.

"Hey! What are you doing?" He asked.

I think he is not comfortable about what I'm doing...

"Hmmm... I'm so sorry... You're in sweat so I have to wipe your back. Baka magkasakit ka," I said sincerely.

"You don't have to do it," he said seriously.

"But I want to," I said.

He just looked at me. I wiped his face using my towel. He is just looking at me. Pinunasan ko na rin ang likod niya.

"Wow, so sweet," Jester said.

"Yeah! Ganyan pala mag-alaga si Vile hahahah," Dexter said while laughing.

Zion rolled his eyes. Nahiya tuloy ako bigla kila Jester.

"Don't mind them," Zion said.

"Magbihis ka na muna," sabi ko na lang.

"I don't have an extra shirt," he said.

I smiled...

"I brought you a shirt," I said.

I got his shirt from my bag...

"Hey! Bakit nagdala ka pa ng shirt ko?" He asked.

"I'm always ready. Napansin ko kasi kanina na wala kang masyadong dala. I'm so worried so I brought some things for you."

Kinuha na lang niya ang shirt sa kamay ko.

I saw him while he is putting some things on his bag. Kaunti lang ang mga dinala niya so I think that I should bring some things in case of emergency.

Zion took off his shirt. I was so shocked! I didn't expect that he has a great body!

He have six pack abs. I never know that he could have a body like this.

I looked away... I feel something burning on my face. I don't know what I should do.

Nahihiya ako sa sarili ko... Feeling ko nasilipan ko si Zion. I should not think like this. It's a disgrace for me because I'm a healer.

"Find the weapon. Don't just stand here," Zion said.

I looked at him. Nakabihis na pala siya, mabuti naman.

"Hey! Why are you blushing?"

"Huh?"

"I said why are you blushing? Pulang-pula ang mukha mo," he asked curiously.

What should I say? I shouldn't lie to him!

"D-Don't mind me. We should find the Deus Ve Roca," I said nervously.

"Guys! Watch out!" Sandra shouted.

A ball of blue fire is heading towards us! Umiwas silang lahat. I don't know what to do. I felt so shocked.

After a second, Rex ran into my front and he released his own fire to block it. The blue fire completely vanished and some grasses are still burning.

"T-Thank you Rex, you saved me," I said nervously.

"Please protect yourself ok?" He said.

I nodded...

"I think I already know who released that ball of blue fire," Rex said.

I looked around. I saw something from Jester's back. There is a tree on his back so I can clearly see his shadow but his shadow is not complementing his figure.

"J-Jester! Look at you back1" I shouted.

A hand inside the shadow held Jester's collar. Bigla na lang naging tao 'yung anino at lumipad siya playo sa amin habang kinakaladkad si Jester.

"I will help him," Dexter said.

Dexter released a green magic circle from his hand. He is controlling the trees around us. The branches of the trees are heading to save Jester.

Makukuha na sana ni Dexter si Jester pero bigla na lang may lumitaw na bolang apoy. A blue fire burned the branches of the trees.

"Don't worry! I can handle it!" Jester shouted.

Napunta na sa malayo si Jester kasama 'yung lalake na tumangay sa kanya.

"W-what's happening?" I asked nervously.

"It's an ambush!" Zion said.

"Hey guys!"

We looked at our back. There is a girl with a blue fire on her hands. She threw a ball of blue fire on us.

There's a red fire that blocked the blue fire. I looked at Rex and he seems so serious.

"Hi, my little brother," the girl said to Rex.

"She's your sister?" I asked.

He nodded...

"Stop doing this Helga, I don't want to fight you," Rex said.

Helga smirked...

She ran into Rex with a blue fire on her back. Rex released a red fire around him and he also ran into Helga. After a second, they were both sky-rocketed above.

They are fighting above us. A blue and red fire are merging in the sky.

"Guys, did you miss me?"

Napatingin na lang kami sa gilid. It's June!

After a second she sing with an enchanting voice. I know it. She is casting a siren spell.

I ran into Zion. I covered his ears using my hands while June is singing with a high note.

After a second, June stopped singing...

"Hey, I have new allies," she said while she's laughing.

Tumingin ako sa paligid. Tinanggal ko na ang pagkakatakip ko sa mga tenga ni Zion. Jared and Dexter looks hypnotized.

"Don't worry, I will sing the counter siren spell," I said.

I will start singing but suddenly, There are a vines from a tree that covered my mouth. I can't sing. I can't talk. Tumingin ako kay Dexter at siya pala ang may gawa nito.

"Those guys will follow my orders hahaahah," June said.

"Really? Well, not me," Zion said.

Zion released a silver magic circle above him. His body was covered with silver light and after a second, he transformed into an angelic warrior with a silver armor. He's really dashing.

"Stop it Dexter!" Wanda shouted.

Wanda fired a blackish pink light on Dexter. Nawala yata ang pagkaka-control niya sa vines kaya lumuwag ang pagkakatali sa bibig ko.

"Ok, so I will fight Jared," Sandra said.

Jared released a high pressure of water that cuts the trees. Sandra dodged the water. She's so fast; she's so cool.

After a second, Sandra created a ball of sky blue light and she fired it into Jared.

I looked at Zion, There is another girl from his back.

"Zion, watch out!" I shouted.

Narinig ako ni Zion kaya nakaiwas na siya kaagad. Dalawa na ang kalaban niya.

"Who are you?" Zion asked the girl.

"I'm Ivy... I'm also a former healer like June," she said.

Huh? She's also a former healer? She looks dangerous. Zion has two powerful opponents. I should help him.

"I-I will help you Zion," I said.

"No, I'm an S class ok? I can handle both of them," he said seriously.

"Then what should I do?" I asked.

"Escape... Find the weapon."

I nodded...

"Well, we are powerful. 2 versus 1 huh? I think we can bring you down even we're not Saints," June said.

I transformed quickly into a white dove...

"Hey healer! Don't fly away! Fight us!" Ivy shouted.

"Yeah, little cute dove!" June said.

I flew quickly away from them...

I looked around and all of them are fighting. I admit it. I'm not capable of fighting anyone because I'm not strong like them. I'm weak...

I need to find the weapon. This is the only thing that I can do. I will never fail Zion. It's an order from him. It's my chance to prove myself to him.
