Dom POV
After two weeks Gabriela is avoiding me, to keep up appearances I sleep on the couch in our room, but she barely talks to me. Today her parents need to leave.
“Do you want me to go with you to take them to the airport?” I asked Gabriela.
“Hindi na kailangan,” she said, brushing her hair.
“Gabriela…”
“Puwede kang matulog sa guest room, at least doon ay hindi sasakit likod mo sa pagtulog,” sabi niya bago pumasok sa kwarto.
I went downstairs and everyone was in the room with their bags.
“Anak, maraming salamat sa lahat,” Gabriela’s mom said.
“Masaya kaming makabisita rito, maraming salamat,” her dad said.
I responded to both of them, “I thank you for coming, the doors of our house will always be open for you.”
