Lucifer

Beginning

I heard a loud collision, the next thing I knew, I was laying down the cold road. I heard some gossips.

I want to open my eyes but I felt weak , I can't even move a finger. I gathered all my strength to open my eyes.

My body aches. I felt a sting of pain on the back of my head. I want to touch it but I can't move my hand.

Naningkit ang mata ko sa maliwanag na tumatama sa mukha ko. Tumingin ako sa gilid at doon ko nakita ang sasakyan na di kalayuan sa akin na nakatumba. May usok na lumalabas dito at mga dugong kumakalat sa daan.

"Tumawag kayo ng ambulansiya!" the man said near me.

Maraming may nagsasalita pero wala akong maintindihan. Ang kaninang liwanag na tumatama sa akin ay wala na, napalitan na mataas na anino ng isang tao.

"Carry her," matigas na ingles na wika ng isang lalaki.

I felt my body being carried. Moments after, darkness envelope my consciousness.

I woke up in a daze. The back of my head sting of pain. As I opened my eyes an unfamiliar ceiling welcomed me.

Where am I?

What happened?

Those are some questions in my head. I don't how long I've been here. The white curtains are being blown by the wind from the outside.

Tinukod ko ang kamay para makaupo. Sinandal ko ang likod sa headboard. Sa harapan ko ay may malaking sliding window. I can see the blue sky up here. Am I in heaven? I burped.

For sure there is no bed in heaven.

After a moment I tried to move again but luckily I gained a little bit of consciousness. I look down at my body. I was wearing a dress shirt, hanggang sa tuhod ko ang haba.

I opened the first door near the bed. It was the bathroom. I entered and see my reflection in the mirror.

The bruises on my face are visible because of my paper white skin. I look closely and see a cut on my lower lip. My forest green eyes looks longing for someone.

I wash my face and wipe it off with a towel. I went outside and open the sliding door I saw earlier to see where am I.

The wind welcomed me. I can see the tall buildings up here so I assumed that this is the tallest building. The people down there looks like some ants.

The next door I opened, bumungad sa akin ang hagdan pababa. Humawak ako sa railings because my knees feel so weak.

The last thing I knew I was drowning. Before that incident, my memories are blurry. Where are my parents? Are they okay?

"What are we gonna do with her?" a casual voice from a man, I heard downstairs.

"She will stay here until she regained ger conscious," a deep voice answered.

"For what?" as the tone of his voice he's really curious.

Who are they?

Pababa na ako ng tuluyan ko na silang makita. The man with soft features on his face was standing in front of a man who's his back is facing me.

As they heard ny footsteps the man with soft features look at my way. He looks shocked but hide it after he saw that I was looking at him.

"She is awake, Master."

I narrowed my eyes at the man whos seating comfortably. Who is he? Why this man in front of him is calling him master.

The man he was talking about didn't answer nor look at me. Ng tuluyan na akong makatapak sa pang huling baitang ay hindi ko alam ang gagawin.

I just stay there and as our situation, i can almost hear the cricket singing.

"Come here," wikang ng lakaking nakatalikod sa akin "Guide her Ascian, looks like she just didn't lose her conscious but her mind as well."

"Yes, master."

Lumapit sa akin ang lalaking tinawag na Morrigan. He motioned his hand to follow his lead. I don't want to freak out. They are both men that means I'm weaker.

Ng nasa harap niya na ako ay doon ko nakita ang kabuoan ng mukha niya. His expression is hard as rock. I can see no emotions in his face like a rock.

"Where Am I?" its almost a whisper.

"At my place."

"What am I doing in here?"

He glace my way and stood up. He put both of his hand on his pocket. The manly scent of him attack my nose.

"Do you remember anything?"

I look at the surrounding like the answer was there. I tried to remember what happened but all I remember is me and the waves.

Umiling ako.

"Where are my parents?" I asked.

"What was the last thing you remember before the accident?" his husky voice made me shiver.

Recalling my memory. I was in a lake with both of my parents besides me after that things happened that I can't seem recall. Seconds I knew I was drowning.

Naglakad ito palagpas sa akin ng walang may makuhang sagot. He went near the glass wall and look at the view outside.

"Did you know that a dying person and an alive person has a same things to do after they die?"

Hinarap niya ako. I step back when his dark eyes met mine. His eyes are telling me danger.

"Ask forgiveness."

Ramdam ko ang presensiya ni Ascian sa likod ko. Pero ang lalaking nasa harap ko ay nangingibabaw ang kilabot ko.

"I wonder where you're in those two?" tumalikod siyang muli pero kahit ganon ay hindi naibasan ang takot ko.

"Wh-who are y-you?"

Even his laugh made me scared. I don't know this man but his actions says that I should be scared in him. I should bow down. He ruled me. He ruled us.

He look at my way this time and went nearer. I gasped when he lean forward, I thought he would kiss me but he whispered on my ear.

"Lucifer."
