Chapter 5: Lost Control

I briefly felt astonished. And I can't stop myself from breathing this slave's scent. I nearly failed to realize that I had closed my eyes. Her scent is quite recognizable and seductive to me.
She inquired seductively, "Do you like the smell of my perfume, Alpha?"
I should return to reality at this point.
"Get away from me," I growl at her, "what are you doing?"
Yet instead of trembling in fear, she simply grinned endearingly.
"It's okay with me, Alpha, if you want to smell me. You can smell me all day." She tried to close the distance between us, but I glared at her to stop her. "I won't mind," she said.
"I can feel your attraction to me, Alpha, but you're just hiding it. C'mon, don't stop yourself," she said. "Gave in to me."
This slave has the audacity to address me in such a manner.
Again, she didn't seem to mind when I glared at her and added, "You know that you shouldn't talk to your master that way, slave."
"You know that I am no ordinary slave," she said, which made my brow furrow. "I'm sure you can notice that."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean. I'm not an ordinary slave. Because I'm going to be your Luna," she confidently said.
My face crumpled at her statement.
"You are really out of your mind. I should have ordered my soldier to throw you away from our pack." I stood up and prepared to leave. This slave is really testing my patience.
I can't stand her anymore.
"Hey! That harsh. You're hurting me, my Alpha. You shouldn't talk like that about your future, Luna," she said, frowning.
"You cannot replace her because I already have a Luna. Never." Before I could get it to the dining room entry, however, something happened.
When I was about to pass her, I heard her whisper something, and then I realized I was on my knees.
"What happened just now?" I looked at her and inquired, perplexed.
She grinned menacingly as she approached me and moved closer to me.
"Your ex-mate, who abandoned you, injured you, and turned you into that person, will be replaced by me." She stepped in front of me and whispered, "Just wait, my Alpha." She quickly disappeared after that.
She walked away, leaving me confused.
What actually is going on?
I find this unbelievable!
I am the honorable Alpha of my pack, and a slave forced me to kneel down?
I am aware that she is to blame for my current state. I caught her whispering something. Then, just in front of me, she abruptly disappeared.
What kind of person is she? Because I am now certain that she is not truly ordinary.
"Alpha Perseus, what are you doing there? Why are you kneeled down?" Upon seeing me, Marriam enquired, her face displaying obvious confusion.
I immediately get to my feet and collect myself after realizing I'm still there.
I said to her, "Excuse me," before turning to walk away, "I'm just looking for something on the floor, but, I assume, I left it in my room."
After that, I heard my inner wolf growl, which he had been doing ever before that slave had approached me, but I had refused to give in to him.
I won't permit that slave to enter my system, I assure you!
Cyan
"I shouldn't have acted that way toward him and in front of him. Ugh! I shouldn't have allowed my emotions consume me!" I tugged at my hair in annoyance.
You've just revealed who you really are to him, Cyan.
Blue, the wolf within, informed me.
"Yeah, I know.
But the reason is that he provoked me. Hearing him say that he has always had a Luna and even telling me that I couldn't get to replace her made my blood boil." Goodthing, I was already in my room, as I was about to scream in rage.
Think about the surprise on his face. You then vanished in front of him. Now, Cyan, you are in serious trouble.
I grinned and replied, "We are. You should have stopped me, Blue. And you are not helping."
I'm sorry? as though I have power over you.
"Yes you have. When you want to come out." I rolled my eyes heaven ward. "What should I do now? By this point, what is he thinking about me?"
Well, maybe by now he was thinking that you were an enemy and that he should kick you out of his pack.
"He cannot do that to me. I won't let him!" and I am determined to do that.
Then you should erase that moment from his memory.
"What if I failed? There might be a big side effect on him," I almost whispered those words.
Right. He might not recognize you or get mad at you even more.
"You are not really helping, Blue!" I shouted. I couldn't get a hold on my emotions right now. And my inner wolf is losing my patience.
Blue laughed.
We can't risk losing our partner. Consider taking action.
"Blue, whatever!"
The door then received a loud knock.
He was there.
Blue let me know.
I gently make my way to the door, my heart pounding in the process.
"Unlock it, slave, before I shatter it," he said.
As I heard his voice, I gasped. It nearly roared and growled like a thunderstorm.
What should we do now?
I asked Blue using mind link. But she didn't answer me.
"Should I make myself vanish now? But I can't trust my magic now that I'm in panic. I might put myself in much bigger trouble."
I took a deep breath before I decided to hold the doorknob.
But before I could open the door, it shattered in front of me.
"What the--"
My eyes widened. And before I could even utter a word, Alpha Perseus came rushing. Then I just found myself lying in my bed and he is on top of me.
"Tell me, who the hell are you?" He asks me while giving me a sharp glare.
