Hong Kong

I'm here now in Hong Kong. A busy city.

Once I landed at the airport, I took the overground train directly into the heart of Hong Kong.

Honestly, I didn't know where to go. I'm kinda scared and at the same time thrilled. I don't how to speak chinese, though i love watching chinese drama.

Maybe i can understand the basic term they usually speak as what i have heard and understand everytime I'm watching dramas, but thinking about it made my head aches and I think I'm going crazy.

I am not a fan of a city life. I even hate Manila, surprisingly i was able to adopt. Except ang usok grabe. I will hate it forever.

The hustle and bustle, the  24-hour culture and the twinkling skycrapers all made me dizzy but at the same time  felling excited to finally arrived.

Whenever I arrive in a new city, I always find it best to go on a little walk. I think carry lang kasi konti lang naman ang dala ko. Ken booked me a room at Stanford Hotel. Sabi ko kasi huwag sa mahal basta yong hindi ako mawawala. Pwedeng lakarin lang.

I message Ken first before I will start looking around the City.

Me:

I landed safely. I am here now at the nearest shopping center.

Ken:

Go to your Hotel first before roaming around. Leave your things. Better rest first Bella. We'll fetch you later.

Me:

I'm good. I'll go to the hotel. See You!

Ken:

Be careful. Excited to see you Bella.

I did walk in going to the hotel. It is located near the shopping center of the city.  A nice place to stay. Not a five star but cozy. I tried to rest pero nabobored ako. Ayoko kung magpahinga, aalis ako. Mag lalunch pa lang naman. Kain lang ako sa gilid gilid I guess and  will look for a tourist  destination. The Victoria Peak tama!

I send a message to Ken telling him I'm on my way to Victoria Peak. He was angry at me. Ayaw niyang pumunta ako baka daw mawala ako and thinking nagcocomute ako mas lalo siyang nagalit. Natawa na lang ako, OA niya talaga palibhasa mayaman. Naikwento ko pa sa kanya ang location ng Hotel.

Hindi pala siya ang nagbook kundi ang secretary niya so wala siyang idea sa Hotel ko. Ililipat niya daw ako sa Grand Hyatt Hotel mamaya.  He even said sorry for booking a cheap hotel.Bahala siya basta ako mag eexplore.

I went to Garden Road, Central Hongkong where the railway  of the Peak Tram Funicular is located, I am going to ride a funicular going up to the Victoria Peak. Mas mabilis kaysa  magbabus ako. Makikita ko pa ang palibot ng Victoria Peak. 

I arrived and ate my lunch first. Then I started to explore the whole Victoria Peak. But I love the Peak Circle Walk most, less crowded and peaceful. It shows the magnificent view of Hong kong. Buti na lang pang trail ang get up ko. I am wearing a sleeveless grey crop top and black high waisted jeans paired with a white running shoes. I wore over my top is a knitted cardigan to cover up some skin. I brought a small sling bag for my phone and cards.

My phone is ringing. It was Ken and I answered it.

Ken:

Where are you?

Me:

At Victoria Peak. What I mean is I'm here exactly  at the Peak Circle Walk. Why?

Ken:

We are here. Looking for a parking.

Wait for us there okay? Don't go around anymore. We might lose you.

Me:

Okay. I won't move a single step. Faster! haha.

I told him laughing.  Oh! so they brought a car. Sosyal na naman yan for sure.

Dito na muna ako magtambay hanggang inaantay sila. Sino naman ang kasama niya. Another Chinese. Nosebleed talaga 'to, mapapalaban ako ng English.  The view is breathtaking. I was  looking around ng may mahagip ang mata ko na naglalakad na lalaki.  Parang familiar naman. Kamukha no'ng kaibigan ni Caden. Hindi siguro grabe naman na coincidence to. Hanggang dito ba naman. Napapraning kana Allie.

" Bella?" nagtataka niyang sabi. He is wearing an aviator at tinanggal niya ng tinawag niya name ko. s**t siya nga. As in? Para naman akong naestatwa sa kinatatayuan ko. Di ko alam anong sasabihin. Kakagulat naman. Grabe nagkita talaga kami ngayon dito. Joke ba to? Sinampal ko pa ang sariling mukha ko. Natawa naman siya.

" Seryoso? Hindi ako nanaginip? Nandito ka rin?", nagtatakang sabi ko at nabibigla pa rin.

" Tumawa pa siya. Yes i'm here. Taga dito ako. Hongkong is still a part of China. Ikaw? Kala namin nasa Bali ka?", tanong niya. Bakit alam niya? Napakunot naman ang noo ko sa kan'ya. Chismoso din ang isang 'to.

" Chismoso ka din no? Bakit alam mo na nasa Bali ako?", pagtataray kong tanong sa kan'ya sabay hawak pa sa beywang ko.

"Oppsss. Wait! I like your hair. You even look hotter and younger.",he praised me with those words but with a mischievous smile plastered on his face. Hmp! lalaki talaga.

" Should i take that as a compliment or the other way?", nasabi ko nalang. Kainis to!

"Hey, I'm serious here. You look good. Sa tanong mo, alam namin na nag Malaysia ka, nagpunta ng Bali. Hindi ko lang nabalitaan na dumaan ka ng Hongkong. Bakit namin alam? Kulang nalang kasi baliktarin ni Caden ang mga Airport para lang malaman kung nasaan ka. Ginamit ang connection niya. Kung hindi pa yon pinigilan ni Zeus at Allen baka nakasama mo na sa Malaysia pa lang at di kana nakarating ng Bali. Pati kami madamay. Hay pag ibig. " sabi niya na umiiling pa.

Hindi ako makapagsalita. Nablangko kasi ang utak ko. Bakit niya ako hahanapin? Nag eenjoy naman siya sa girlfriend niya. Ayokong mag comment baka ano pa masabi ko. Narinig ko siyang nagsalita ulit.

"He's totally head over heels in love with you Bella. Ngayon lang namin nakita si Caden ng gano'n. Kung ano man ang nakita mo bago ka umalis, you better talk to him. Sana you give him a chance. He's so serious towards you. Sana pag isipan mo. Ayaw lang namin mangyari ulit ang nangyari sa kan'ya 10 years ago. Nakikiusap ako. ", nakita ko ang sincerity sa mga mata niya. Napaka seryoso niya. Nakita ko kasi ang pilyo niyang ngiti parati pero ngayon seryoso siyang nakikiusap sa akin. Napabuntong hininga na lang ako.

"May hinahanap ka dito?", basag ko sa katahimikan namin at pag iba ng usapan.

"Nothing, but I'm with my cousin. My imemeet siya dito. Saan na ba yon? Nagpark lang yon saglit ang tagal na." palingon lingon siya.

"Ikaw?",  tanong naman niya sa akin.

" May I meet up din ako na kaibigan dito." tipid kong sabi. Tapos nakita ko kinuha niya phone niya at tinapat sa aming dalawa. Magkatabi kasi kami at nagtake siya ng picture namin.

" Sorry ha, need ko lang ng evidence. hehe!",  natatawa ni'yang sabi. Napailing na lang ako. Alam ko isesend niya kay Caden. Musta na kaya siya. Di ko muna siya iisipin.

Maya't maya may dumating na maputi na lalaki at lumapit kay Kai. Di kasi makita mukha niya kasi naka cap. Si Kai kasi hindi siya yung maputi na chinese. Yung fair lang at may pagka tanned nga siya ngayon,  ang kinis ng balat niya. Mamula mula.Per gwapo rin niya. Super  chinky ang eyes niya na nawawala pag tumatawa. Isa siya sa mga chinese na lalaki na nagagwapohan ako kahit nawawala ang mata pag ngumingiti. Cute cute nga eh. At ang built ng katawan niya halos muscles lahat. I think he is the athletic type at nagwowork out. Lahat naman silang magkakaibigan actually, magaganda ang katawan at gwapo.

Back to the guy. Mga nasa 6'1" ata ang height. Ang tangkad niya. Ganda din ng built ng katawan, with those lean muscles. Gwapo din kahit nakatago ang mukha. s**t! Ang veins niya sa arms pamatay. Sobrang puti naman ng kulay niya  nahiya ako sa color ko. May hawak siyang dried flowers, isang nasa jar at isang  bouquet. Ganda ng flowers. It's an old rose color ng mga dried flowers. My favorite. Sa kakatitig ko sa kan'ya bigla siyang napatingin sa akin. Nanlaki naman ang mata ko kasi nahuli niya akong nakatingin sa kan'ya. Familiar siya.

"Bella....hey, it's you. Finally we meet in person. It's me Ken." Sabi niya sabay tanggal ng cap niya at mas lumapit sa akin. Napatanga naman akon. Oo nga si Ken. Hindi ko siya nakilala kasi naka cap tapos ang tangkad niya. Sabagay kasi sa mga picture matangkad naman talaga siyang tingnan.

" Oh! Hi Ken! Oh my god! I'm sorry I didn't recognize you. But you look familiar that's why I keep on staring at you. Do you know each other?", tanong ko sabay turo sa kanilang dalawa. OMG, don't tell me magpinsan sila? Nanlaki ang mata ko sa gulat.

" Yah Bella. Your guessing it right. " natatawang sabi ni Kai. As in nabasa niya nasa isip ko?

" What a small world. So it's him? Your cousin the one you're always telling me about right?,  tanong ko kay Ken at tumawa nan siya. Napakunot noo naman si Kai. Ngayon ko lang naalala same pala sila ang apelyedo. Kala ko kasi hindi related diba? Eh mostly naman ng mga chinese same ang mga apelyedo but wala lang.

"This one is for you. I bought it on my way up here after i parked the car. Good thing i saw a flower shop down there. And it's your favorite, I bought the two type of arrangement just to make sure." ngumita siya.

"Oh thank Ken." tinanggap ko ang bulaklak at napangiti. Yes i like dried flowers so much.

" It's nice to see you Bella, I'm happy. And you cut your hair. It suits you,  you look even younger and hot. Pretty as always." he was staring at me while saying all those. s**t! my heart is beating so fast. Goodness Jesus. Nagpapalpatate naman ang aking puso.

"Thanks Ken. You look good also. God! You even got taller than I expected. I look like a piglet If i stand next to you. haha!", I laugh and he laugh as well. Pati si Kai tumawa na din. Nagtambay pa kami ng mga ilang minuto. Nakita ko pang kinuhaan kami ni Kai ng picture ni Ken. Pinandilatan ko siya ng mata. Alam ko isesend na naman niya kay Caden.

We went to the parking lot. A Benz SUV is waving at us. Si Ken ang magdadrive. They booked me at Grand Hyatt hotel. Pati silang dalawa do'n din daw nagcheck in. Daanan namin sa Stanford Hotel ang mga gamit ko at magcheck out.  Sayang naman, wala akong choice ayaw nila sa cheap hotel hotel palibhasa ang yayaman.

Nasa likod namin si Kai sa passenger seat. Busy sa kanyang phone. Habang busy naman kami ni Ken na mag usap. Hindi na kami actually naiilang sa isat isa, madami na kasi kaming naikwento sa chat. Dati kasi halos everyday ko siyang ka chat. Lalo na pag nasa Australia siya nag aaral. Pati pag aasignment niya tinutulungan ko siya. Para nga actually kaming magjowa na LDR sa lagay namin. Tapos ngayon magkikita. Pang telanovela lang ang drama.

Minsan lang naiilang ako pag nakikita ko siyang nakatitig sa akin. Titig niya kasi kakaiba. Puno ang pagmamahal at pagsusumamo. He has a raven black eyes. Bagay naman kasi sobrang puti ng mukha niya at his lips is red na red, parang sa baby lang ang nipis po at moist.

"Stop staring at me Bella." Omg! nagulat ako, naramdaman pala niya. Nagblush nan ako. Kakahiya.

He dropped Kai sa isang Five Star Hotel after namin sa Stanford. Nagtaka naman ako. Nabasa siguro ni Ken ang nasa isip ko.

" His family owned the Hotel. It's a five star hotel also. They have a branch here in Hong kong and in other Asian countries. We didn't book there because they will know that I am seeing you." he explained and smile at me.

" Kai has another business. He put up a gaming company. One of best and the biggest E-gaming company in Shang Hai and it started to branch out. I even invested one of his branch. You know what's an E-gaming company right? " sabi niya while looking at me.

" mmmh Yah i guess. Like in the Go Go Squid Chinese drama." i said.

" Yes, that's it. You love Tong Nian huh? I remembered that was our first conversation in dating.com chatbox. You have a huge crush on Wallace Hu. But I told you girls in China were crazy over Deng Lun ", he said and we both laugh.

" Yah, and you like Yang Zi. We even argued about their names. You're  always telling me their Chinese names which I didn't even know. I knew them by their English name.", I reminded him and he laugh.

" We even watched together the Go go Squid 2, Apple Dog's time. You even sang to me their soundtrack. What was the Title again? Is it " Are you" right?". I agreed to him and we became silent.

"I love it everytime you sang it over the phone." he said in a low voice, it came out almost a whisper. I sense sadness in his voice.

" Can you sing it again for me? I love that song Bella. I even recorded your voice when you sang it to me years ago.

That song is what inside my heart for you. " he said and his voice cracked but i heard him loud and clear.

My eyes began to water. I bite my lips and tried to move my eyelashes to keep my tears from falling. It pains me. Hearing his voice like that I know inside him he is hurting.

My lips start to quiver and my voice gets shaky. I'm on the verge of crying now but I continue to sing until I reached the chorus.

I finished the song. I look at him. He is silently crying. Tears are falling from his eyes. He's not looking at me. His focus is on the road and driving but crying. I don't know what to do.

"Ken... don't be like this please..." nakikiusap kong sabi sa kan'ya ayoko kung makita siya na ganito sa una naming pagkikita.

He didn't answer. I saw his eyes still red. We arrived at Grand Hyatt Hotel. He accompanied me to my room. We both went inside. And I talked to him.

"Ken... talk to me..." I told him in my voice almost begging.

" I'm getting married Bella. I don't want to but i have to. For my family and for the company. I don't love her. I knew her since we were kids. But we were not close. She likes me since we were young.  I will try to work on my marriage. I promise to her. If time come's that it won't work even after all the things that I will do. I will decide to devorce her. But I'm afraid Bella. When that time comes. You are no longer free." he said in a horse voice and tears fall from his eyes again.

"I'm sorry, our first meeting will also be our last but I hope not." he said with his voice almost crack.

I pulled him into my arms, and held him as tight as i could. I took a hold of his chin and wiped some tears away with my thumb.

"Hey we should be happy. This is our first meeting. You want to rest?" nasabi ko na lang di ko kasi alam ang isasagot ko. Magulo din kasi ang isip ko.

"No, I'll leave you here first.  I'll pick you up by seven tonight. We will have our dinner. Okay? I've got to go now." he said and I nodded.

He went out of from my suite. The moment he closed the door. My tears began to fall and started crying hard again.

Evening came and I wore a black spaghetti strap summer dress that is one inch below the knee paired with black pointed stilleto. I have a small purse with me. I put on an earing and put on a black lace choker with a tear shaped pearl pendant. I heard a knock on the door. I shouted come in.

There I saw Ken opened the door  in her Dark blue blazer with stripe inner tshirt, paired with dark blue pants and a white sneakers. He looks so neat and breathtakingly  handsome.

"Hi are you ready?" , he asked and I nodded. I saw hin walked near me.

" You look so beautiful Bella." he whispered. And slowly he kissed me on my forehead.

"Thanks, You as well. Oppa na Oppa ah." I said and i smiled at him. Natawa din siya sa akin.

We had dinner in a formal dine in restaurant at the roof top of this Hotel. With fireworks. It was so romantic. Looking at the sky. I won't forget this day and this night in my life. Another person will say goodbye to me again. My heart breaks. Di ko namalayan lumuluha na naman ako. I felt Ken hugged me from the back and he slipped his both arms around my waist and he drew me closed to him. He rested his chin on my bare shoulder as we both watch the fireworks lit up the vast sky.

But I was silently crying. Biting my lips to keep my sob. But my shoulder begin to shake. I know Ken knew I was crying. He burried his face on my neck and put a little kisses on it.  Oh god Ken! Don't do this. My body reacted. The next thing i know. He turned me to face him and he slowly bow down his head to my level and kissed me. He bit my lower lips and I opened my mouth. He slipped his tongue inside and kissed me deeply and passionately.  I responded to his kisses. Naramdaman ko na lang tumutulo ang luha ko while we are kissing. Ramdam ko sa bawat halik niya ang iba't ibang emosyon niya. Pagmamahal at sakit. I knew Ken loves me more than a friend. He confessed to me 2 years ago.

Matagal din kaming naghalikan. God! Am I doing the right thing? Parang nakikita ko and mukha ni Caden na galit. Bago ko pa man maitulak si Ken ay nagstop na siyang halikan ako. I know I shouldn't felt guilty. Wala naman kaminh relasyon ni Caden and it wa just a kiss. We ended our dinner at inihatid niya ako sa room ko. Habang nasa door siya he said something.

"Thank you bella. For this beautiful and unforgetable night with you. You're the best thing that ever happened to me. Seeing you here infront of me. Made me wish that this moment won't end. But I know it will be just a dream. I will treasure all my memories with you and keep it in my heart. You will have a place here forever. 'Till I see you again.  I love you....so much that it hurts. " He said with tears in his eyes and he left me standing on the door.
