I only raised my eyebrow as my response. Umiwas ako sa kaniya. Nagseselos ako ngayon at hindi ko ‘yun mapigilan. Unang-una sa lahat paano ko dedepensahan ang sarili ko at paano ko masasabi kay Zora na boyfriend ko si Cadence? Ang hirap sobra.
“We have nothing to talk about, Cadence,” I said, exasperatedly.
“Yes, we have. Mamaya pag-uwi natin ay mag-uusap tayo ng masinsinan,” he replied. He looks so stressed as of the moment. “Don’t drink too much, baby. You are so naughty when you’re drunk.”
I rolled my eyes. “I guess you forgot that this was my life before. I miss the party so if you really know me that much.”
“I know you more than anyone who knows about you…”
I took the shot and downed it on my throat. I felt the hot liquid rolled through my throat. Lumapit ngayon
