I sighed frustratedly. Mom is too persistent. She won't stop unless pagbigyan ko siya. I don't understand why she desperately wants me to have a female secretary when in fact she knows about my issues with women.
"Mom, I already told you I won't--"
"Anak, please? Just this once," she said pleadingly. Mom really knows I can't refuse her.
"Fine, Mom. Just make sure hindi siya tatanga-tanga."
"Salamat, anak! Don't worry ako mismo ang mag-i-interview para masigurado kong matino ang magiging secretary mo."
She smiled triumphantly. I envy dad for having mom. She's a perfect woman for me. And I promise I will never get married unless I found someone like her.
