Birthday
The sun was high up in the sky, but the weather was cool, when I walked out of the house. I was feeling exceptionally happy as it was a great day.
It had been two months since I first met Ishmael. When I learned that I was assigned to work with him on his extra credits, I never thought that I would get along with him. I wasn’t even sure if ‘getting along’ was the right term to use. It felt like those words were too superficial to describe how close we were to each other. Although we were on different wavelengths, we successfully met each other on the common ground we shared with each other. I became naturally comfortable with him and his presence as we met often.
