I feel like my heart is going to burst when I heard her announcement. Napako ang paa ko sa kinatatayuan ko. Hindi ako makapaniwala sa sinabi niya. Did she really just called my number? Or I am clowning myself right now?
"As a special tradition, we are going to pick a man from the audience to award the bouquet to our newly crowned queen."
Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala. Ni hindi nga nagalaw ang katawan ko. I was just stiffly standing there watching the audience celebrate.
"Congrats, you deserved it, Scylla."
Doon lang ako natauhan. The first runner up who was by my side suddenly hugged me and congratulated me. Imposible naman sigurong yakapin niya ako kung hindi nga ako 'yon.
