Chaos Series 1: Angel

"Oh my God Angel! This is so pretty!" Ellie exclaimed, almost shouted as she entered my newly decorated condo unit. I have been waiting for days for the decorating to finish so that I can show it to her. And I finally, today is the day.

"The color combination, the color scheme, it's so good! It suits you so well! This unit screams Charleigh Angela!" She said as she sit down on the white comfy couch.

I giggled and walk towards her, "Thank you, I'm glad you like it." I said and her head snap at my direction.

"Huh? Bakit naman? Hindi naman ako ang titira dito." She said and I chuckled.

"Oo nga, pero I like it when you're happy and excited." I said and she look at me with confused expression before standing up from the couch and walking towards the kitchen.

"I expect you have..." she opened the fridge door and there the groceries I bought yesterday welcomed her.

She chuckled, "I knew it, and also here..." she opened the top cabinets where the canned goods, and other dry foods are.

She giggled, "I know hindi ka magugutom dito, and I'm glad to know that." She said and I smiled before walking towards her.

"You can go here any time, do you want me to give you a key?" I asked and sit down on a dining chair. She look at me with her brows furrowed.

"Angel no, this is your unit now. It's like your own house. Hindi ka dapat nagbibigay ng susi kung kani-kanino." She said as she sit down across me.

"Pero hindi ka 'kani-kanino' you're my sister. And I trust you." I said and she smiled.

I hear her sigh, "Thank you, thank you for trusting me. Pero still, Angel, you should be more careful here. Kinakabahan ako sayo e. Ako yung kibakabahan para sayo. Baka mapasok ka ng magnanakaw dito. Ezekiel should keep an eye on you 24/7. I'm gonna ask him to do that." She said and my eyes widened a bit and my lips formed a big 'O'.

"Ellie no, busy siya, he's gonna be their company's new CEO in few months. Ayaw ko siyang abalahain." I said and I hear her chuckle.

"Kahit na, he's still your boyfriend and you're still his girlfriend. He still have some responsibilities for you. Mag boyfriend at girlfriend palang kayo pero hindi ka na niya kayang alagaan? What more if you two are married?" She asked and I pouted before playing with my hands that are on the table. 

"Sige, ikaw bahala." I said and i hear her chuckle.

"But I want to tell you something." I said and i hear her hum.

"What is it?" She asked and lean forward towards me.

I bit my lower lip, "The other week, when I and Ezekiel were just checking this unit, we... we did something." I hesitantly said and I hear her gasp.

"Oh my God! Angel! Really!? Oh my God! Did he used protection!? Mom and dad will get mad if mabuntis ka niya! Wait, alam ba ba nila mom and dad!? Oh my God! I'm gonna be a tita!" She shouted and my eyes widened.

"Ellie no! Ellie no no no! Stop, stop. Calm down, calm down." I said and she look at me with furrowed brows.

"What? Hindi  ba... 'yon ang ibig mong sabihin?" She asked and I shake my head.

"No, so please calm down." I said and she pull backwards.

"What really happened is... we kissed... a semi-deep one." I said and her eyes squinted.

"Ellie there's no such thing as 'semi-deep' kiss. It's already a deep kiss that happened." She said and I pouted before scratching the top of top of head.

"Oh, okay." I said and look down on the table. I hear her sigh and I felf her hands on mind.

"But tell me how it went." She said and a smile slowly prints on my lips.

"It was.. how do I explain it? It gives me a different kind of... shivers, and happiness, it feels... nice when I...  when my lips touch his and when he... suck on my lower lip and his hands.. on.. my waist and-

"Okay calm down Angel, calm down. Gosh, that was a bit detailed, nakaka-inggit tuloy. I wish I date men to marry instead of dating them just for fun." She said and my lips formed a small 'o'.

"What do you mean?" I asked but she shakes her head.

"Nothing, but I'm happy for the both of you. Keep the good relationship up." She said and I slowly nod.

"Ellie, can you help me cook nga pala? Ezekiel is coming by 7pm, do you want to celebrate with us?" I asked and she look at her wrist watch.

"I can help you cook, but maybe not eat here, I'm sorry." She said but I shake my head.

"No its fine, ipagbabaon nalang kita ng niluto natin." I said and she nods.

We started cook by 5:30 PM, she started in boiling the pasta while I cook the carbonara sauce. I have noticed that Ezekiel like's carbonara, but he said he likes it more when I cook it. I make sure the sauce is creamy, cheesy and thick because for me, that's how a good carbonara for me. Though, it's not really how you make carbonara, but it's my choice and preference.

We also cooked steak, beef steak that made the both of us stress because I'm honestly not good at making steak so we have to search up to the internet on how to make a good one. But in the end, we were able to finish it.

"Here is your carbonara, I added extra cheese, and here's your steak and sauce." I said and handed her the small paper bag. She chuckled and reach for the bag.

"You can be a good mom, but soon Angel. Soon." She said, giving stress on the word 'soon' that made me chuckled.

"Yes, I know." I said and she smiled before bidding a goodbye and leaving my unit.

While waiting for Ezekiel, I did a small cleaning. There's no much to clean, or there's even nothing to clean but I want to.

Around 7:10 PM, Ezekiel arrived. He put down his bag first before giving me a soft kiss on the forehead.

"Hey, how's your day?" He softly ask while his arms are wrapped around my shoulders and mine wrapped around his waist.

"It was nice, Ellie was here this afternoon but she had to leave after we cooked." I said and his head snap at the dining table.

"Oh, wow, amoy palang masarap na." He said and I chuckled.

"Lets eat?" I asked and he nods. With his right arm still wrapped around my shoulder, we walk towards the  dining table.

"Wow Angel, these looks so good!" He said before reaching for the serving spoon of the carbonara.

"I'm glad you like it, this is our small celebration because I'm finally moving out." I said and he slowly nods.

"Wow, noong nakalipat na rin ako sa condo ko, hindi naman ako nagka celebration, hindi ko alam na dapat may celebration pala." He said making the both of us chuckle.

"I just want to. I honestly just want to cook for us. Pinabaunan ko na rin si Ellie since she can't eat here." I said and he nods while chewing on his food. I decided to not talk anymore and just eat.

After we ate, I said I'll wash the dishes and he can just rest on the couch since I know that he's tired from his work. After I wash the dishes, I also took a shower already and change to my pajamas. When I went to the living room, I saw Ezekiel passed on on the couch, he's holding the remote control and the TV is turned on, football game flashed on the screen.

I chuckled and walk towards him before slowly getting the remote from his hands and turning of the TV. I got startled when I saw his eyes opened and look around before once again resting his back on the couch.

"Angel..." he called with a sleepy voice and I hum.

"Can I just sleep here?" He asked and my lips parted.

"U-Uh... sure, sure! You can, but your clothes?" I asked,

"I have spare ones, I'll just changed and I'll sleep here." He said and stand up. He grab the clothes from his bag and I watch him walk towards the bathroom.

I went to my bedroom and wait for him to at least say goodnight. But minutes passed and almost 30 minutes and he hasn't even knocked. So I stand up from my bed and leave the bedroom and see him folding his clothes.

"Hey... ahm... goodnight!" I said and he faced my direction and smiled.

"Goodnight," He said and put down his bag. I watch him struggle to lay down on the couch that made me bite my lower lip.

Should I? He's struggling on laying down there. But I'm also scared to sleep with him on one bed. But I also feel bad that he's gonna sleep there. He will probably have back problems the next days. We are just gonna sleep anyways.

"Ezekiel, don't you want to sleep on my bed. The couch looks uncomfortable in terms of sleeping there." I said and his head snap at my direction.

"Are you sure? I can manage here Angel." He said and i nod.

"I'm sure, so let's go. I know you're tired. Para makapagpahinga ka ng maayos." I said and he nods before standing up from the couch and following me go the bedroom. Gladly I have lots of pillows that we can use.

"This feels so better than the couch." He said as he lay down beside me.

"Goodnight Angel." He said when his eyes are closed.

A smiled, "Goodnight Zekie, sleep tight."
