14. Nightmares

Jason walked into a room. It was dark, and he could not see anything. His feet started to shiver against the cold floor. “Hello,” his voice echoed through the walls. He couldn’t tell if there was anything in that place, but based on the sound of the echo, the place seemed huge. “Anybody? Where am I?” Jason turned left and right in hopes of finding something. His fingers shook as chills ran down his spine. “You are not worthy,” a loud and angry voice answered him. Its tone seemed to be so full of grudges. A type of hatred that was even deeper than mere envy or jealousy. “Who are you?” asked Jason while feigning his bravery. He then charged the darkness before him until he bumped into something.
