"You should be brave and find your way home,"
I cried while my legs are trembling because of too much fear. I tried to reach for his hand when he hugged me and gently tapped my hair. I felt safe for a short amount of time the moment he wrapped his arms around my body. He then wiped all the tears in my cheeks when he let go of me.
"Promise me, you'll be safe," I nodded. I was very scared but I did try my best to feel strong for myself. I ran away as much as I can, leaving him who stayed by my side during those times that I have no one to call.
