Reward
I was floored to say the least.
For starters, Konstantine had discarded his black cape. The long cloth swaying every time he moves was now gone and therefore, I proved that he could indeed live without it. The black material was like his ghost following his every move, helping him disappear in the shadows which was a thing now that Konstantine does to annoy me rather than scare me. Sometimes, that precious cape would even come in suede. I thought I would live long enough to see that it could come in leather but seeing him today without it was the miracle of my life, not the part where he bit me and poisoned me with his venom.
Konstantine raised a brow, eyes glinting with amusement.
“My wife, are you ogling me?”
