She groans as consciousness returns to her the next morning. There's a pounding in her head like she has not felt before. "Unnngh... Shi..." She tries to open her eyes but it seems that her eyelids are now two heavy curtains that are impossible to lift.
She feels disoriented and her body doesn't seem to get in line with her head. "What's happening to me? Am I on drugs? s**t! Jusko! What's this?!" She groans loudly as a sharp pain shoots up from her temples and explodes in her head when she tries to sit up. She sucks her lower lip into her mouth and bites on it hard to stop herself from yelling all the profanities she has ever heard in her life.
She rolls to her side instead and hugs herself. That's when she realizes it. "Holy sh..." She runs her hands over her chest. "f**k!" She screams in her head. Her breasts are bare under the blanket and she can feel her pebbled n*****s pushing through the fabric. She rubs her thighs together and senses a creamy slickness between them. Then as a cold draft seeps through the gaps between the sheet that covers her and the bed, she is suddenly aware of her nakedness down there. A sense of alarm rocks her entire body and jolts her spirit awake.
Headache be damned, she tries hard to think straight. What happened to her? Why can't she remember anything? Why is she naked? Where is she? Who was she with? She fears opening her eyes to find out. Did she... She thinks she can't ever forgive herself if she did so in this manner.
With eyes still closed, she draws a slow deep breath to calm her thoughts. They say you would know if you did. Your body will tell you. There will be soreness and pain between your legs if you've lost it.
She listens to her body and tries to detect any more pain aside from the one in her head that's been bitching at her for the past few minutes that she's been awake. Nothing. She doesn't feel any different down there. "I don't think so," she thinks. "I don't think I've given anyone my V-card yet."
Then she remembers the guy from the bar— Jacob.
Flashes of memories of them together return to her. She remembers his dimpled smile, his stare that makes her cheeks warm and her heart beat faster at the same time, his hand that perfectly molded with hers when they held hands, and the bolt of electricity that shot from the tips of her fingers then up her arm. She remembers how they looked at each other in amazement after because he felt it too. She remembers how they were dancing to loud music with strobe lights that seemed to hypnotize her, she doesn't recall how they moved to that place but she remembers she wasn't herself anymore.
Then she remembers how his body pressed against her back while they danced. One large hand gripped her hip while the other was sprawled over her flat belly. She remembers his warm breath was on her neck, his lips were on her skin, her head leaned back on his strong shoulders, and his hardness pushed between the firm and ample cheeks of her buttocks as they swayed to the music. She remembers feeling the same tingling sensation between her legs like she is feeling now at the mere memory of him.
Now she doubts if she has indeed kept her chastity. With all the new thoughts and emotions she is feeling now, she might have. With him. Especially since she can't recall where she is, how she got there or exactly where there is.
She tries to open her eyes again and winces in pain as she slowly does so. She takes in whatever she can of where she is. She's on a bed that's definitely not hers since it's probably three times the size of her own bed. She looks further from the white sheets and pillows to the room which is dimly lit with the curtains still closed but the bright rays that seep behind the beige fabric tells her it's morning.
That sends another jolting alarm to her senses. "It's morning! Mom!" She screams in her head in panic and hurriedly sits up but another wave of pain hits her head, making her grunt.
"Hey... Take it easy," his gentle voice tells her. She freezes. She doesn't see him yet because he seems to have appeared out of nowhere on her left side while she is looking to her right but she doesn't have to turn to know that it's him. It's Jacob.
"The first hangover is always a total bitch." He chuckles as she hears his footsteps on the carpeted floor move towards her. "Here..." He gently touches her arm. She flinches and hugs her knees, holding the blanket covering her tighter to her chest. He sighs.
The bed dips beside her as he sits but she doesn't dare look at him. "Look. I know waking up naked in a strange bed with a man you just met in addition to having a headache that feels like it's going to split your head in half must be driving you insane right now." He speaks to her so tenderly, she almost feels sorry for feeling so defiant and defensive towards him.
"Diana... Please look at me. I'm here to help you." He tells her.
"Help?" She raises an eyebrow and looks over her shoulder to him. Although her head is still throbbing with pain, she manages to give him a sharp look. "No, thank you. You've done quite enough." She snarls.
He sighs again. "Diana, I'm not a bad guy," he says.
"No. You're not. You're the devil," she thinks. "Especially in that sinful plain white V-neck shirt and tight jeans. Damn it, Diana!" She immediately scolds herself mentally as soon as the thought passes.
She keeps quietly staring at him.
"Okay. You probably don't remember much of last night since you were pretty much wasted half the time. You must have a million questions in that pretty little head of yours right now. Let me answer one. We didn't," he tells her. "You know." He wiggles his eyebrows.
"We didn't?"
"No. We didn't. I wouldn't. I mean it's not that you're not attractive. You are actually very very... very hot." He states matter-of-factly and she blushes profusely. "I wouldn't because you were extremely drunk and wasn't aware of what was happening."
"Thank you? I guess." She whispers.
"Well you should thank me because it took A LOT of self-control that I didn't know I had to stop myself from throwing you on this bed, driving myself hard into you and pounding relentlessly until your voice is hoarse from screaming my name especially after watching you strip naked in front of me."
She opens her mouth to speak but finds she has no words for what he just told her. Her heart is now pounding wildly in her chest and her head is swirling in disbelief as she feels her core clench at his words and the room feels like it just got two degrees warmer.
"I... What?" That's all she manages to say.
"Yeah. You probably don't remember that either." He chuckles. "Tell you what. I will tell you everything that happened over breakfast. Take this medicine for your headache first then take a shower if you want." He smiles at her as he hands her a bottle of Advil and a glass of water from the bedside table. "Your clothes are in the bathroom. I had them washed and dried." He adds.
She looks at him quietly, trying to grasp what's going on exactly. He smiles and gently rubs her head. This time she doesn't feel the need to move away.
"Go on." He urges with a smile. "Take the medicine so you can start feeling better." Then to her surprise, he presses a tender kiss on her forehead. What surprised her more is how she seems to have melted in his touch and just let him do that. "See you at breakfast." He whispers and stands up.
She watches him walk towards the door and when he turns the knob to open it, she finally finds her voice to speak. "Jacob?"
He turns to her with the same soft smile. "Yes, Diana?"
"Where am I exactly?"
"You're in my house." He tells her. "By the way, someone called your cellphone but since you're still asleep, I answered in case it's urgent."
"Who was it?"
"She didn't say but it was a girl and she stuttered through the entire conversation. She was probably shocked to hear a man answer. Anyway, she said not to worry about your Mom, she's going to stay with her. Then she said that you should enjoy it, expect that you will be kicked out of the association of Mother Teresa and she will prepare Efficascent Oil for you when you get home. Whatever that means." He shrugs and chuckles.
She knows what it means. Her friend thinks she lost her virginity to this man.
"Anyway, I'll see you downstairs. Let's eat breakfast then I'll drive you home after." He smiles and waves at her then steps out and closes the door.
