The following hours were painful with all the waiting. Nasa labas lang kami ng operating room kung saan inooperahan si Mervin ng family doctor nila.
We are not in a hospital. It is more like a mansion to me pagpasok pa lang. The interior looks like a five-star hotel with all the chandelier, grand staircase, red carpet, and all the expensive-looking paintings on the wall.
Miski ang pulang makakapal na kurtina ay mukhang elegante, ang pinto na kulay ginto, at ang sahig na gawa sa marble tiles. I am having second thought about this place. Maybe this is not a house or a hotel that I thought it is. Baka mansyon na nga ito ng isang aristokrata pero hindi ko lang alam. It is too bright and dazzling for my liking.
