"Hey, Babe!"
A loud voice woke me up from my stupor. I looked at both sides but I saw no one.
“Babe!” I heard someone yell from my back. There I found Luna bent down, trying to catch her breath.
I quickly ran back to her.
"What the hell were you doing?! Yo-you su-suddenly ran so-so fast. I-I tried to ca-catch up with you, pe-pero sobrang pa-pagod na talaga a-ako." She complained as her chest heaved up and down repeatedly. I patted her back gently and helped her wipe her sweat away.
"I'm sorry." Anas ko. I looked at her sorry figure and felt guilty.
"Let's rest for a bit. I'm too tired."
I subconsciously looked at the road in front. I remained silent for a minute before saying, "Okay."
While waiting for Luna to stabilize her breath, I leaned my back on the light post.
