I was pacing back and forth in my office when my phone rang and it put my movements to a halt. Sa pagmamadali kong sagutin ang tawag, ni hindi ko na nagawa pang tingnan kung sino ang tumawag. I was dying to hear from Aria and every time my phone rings, it’s always her that I was expecting to call.
“Aria!”
“No, Maicky… It’s Maya.”
Agad akong natigilan at bahagyang na- disappoint nang marinig ang boses ng aking kapatid. But I immediately regretted thinking like that. I felt more terrible. f**k.
“Maya.” I said, my voice calm now.
“Hey…” She said, sounding a bit hesitant.
