Chapter 1 : Sept 3, 12, 22, 23, 24

1st year college, 1st batch of students under the new normal education system because of the covid-19 that resulted to a worldwide pandemic. Online classes and modular system were the ways for us to continue studying; for us to work hard and reach our dreams and goals. I study under the online class system. I am a freshman student studying bachelor of science in Psychology at Laguna Doctors' College.

September 3 – 1st day, also the day of our orientation at the same time the day wherein we'll meet our classmates and some of our profs that are scheduled that day. I'm with my friends Andriette and Yanna, they are old friends. Andriette from my senior high school years and Yanna from 7th grade. Parehas kami ng kinuhang course na nasa iisang section din. Masaya at nakaka-excite kasi after ng ilang years college na kami at four years lang graduation na uli naming. Slowly, natutupad na naming yung mga pangarap naming. One step at a time nga sabi nila.

Masaya yung naging first day naming kasama ang BSP1. New classmates, new school, new experiences. Magaan kausap ang BSP1 kahit pa thru chat lang messenger at f*******:.

As weeks pass our section was getting close each day. Bardagulan, kulitan at pags-ship sa mga classmates. Madaming nagging couple ship sa room at damay ako don. Dahil creative ang mga kaklase ko nakabuo sila ng "FrAshley" short for Franz and Ashley daw.

Si Franz yung tipo ng student na go with the flow lang din madaling makasalamuha kasi approachable siya. He kinda cool 'di ako kokontra. And isang araw in-invite niya kami sa isang zoom party na may mga kakanta at tutugtog at isa raw siya sa mga performers that night. The zoom party was dedicated for Admoure's 4th monthsary – fanbase ni Adie. Dahil tapos nanaman ang class that time at wala naman kaming any assignments or kailangan ipasa I joined the party. Nakita ko si Aeriel Garcia sa party and madami rin akong na-discover na new singers under O/C records. Ang gagaling nila kumanta at tumugtog pero ang kumuha talaga ng pansin ko that time ay si Aly Remulla at simula noon lagi na ako nakikinig sa mga kanta niya.

Unfortunately, hindi ko narinig mag perform si Franz kasi it's almost 10 pm and dapat by that time I must be tucking to bed kaya nagsend na lang ako ng message sakaniya.

Dahil nga si Aly at Adie ang nakaagaw ng pansin ko that night, at na-discover ko na may released song na si Aly sa Spotify, I repeatedly played it for days and one day naisipan kong ilagay sa story ko sa f*******: kasi deserve niya madiscover din ng ibang tao kasi ganon siya kagaling na artist. Dahil doon naisipan ko rin gumawa ng stan account para kay Aly. @ALYlaNgAlon

I was vibing to Aly's song which is Alon then suddenly my phone popped a notif.

Franz Reyes replied to your story :

I replied "Thank u for sharing her song, kapatid"

It was just a normal day I finished all the task that was given to us. I read books and cleaned my room. While waiting for the last subject to start I was fixing my study table and was scrolling through twitter when Franz sent a message again.

Franz : yow. U busy?

Ashley : hindi naman why?

Franz : just wanna know if may sort of activities k aba like reminders lang sa mga task natin na to be passed?

Ashley : yep

Franz : salamat ah, 'di ko lang kasi maarrange ng ayos :

Ashley : sige sige wait send ko

Franz : sure sure anytime

Ashley : You sent a photo.

Franz : hala maraming salamat!

Ashley : Gotchu! Goodluck

Franz : sa'yo rin, goodluck!

I woke up the next day and got a message from him again at 12:50 am.

F : hi dude! u up? just want u to know na bukas rin ang bday ni miss aly :> so we organize some surprises. would u want to send her some Bday greetings? just send here ur best wishes and letters!

A : Aaaaaa reallyyyyy??????????

F : yes beb

Dali dali akong nagtype sa notes ko para magsulat ng bday message para kay Aly. Nang matapos ako nag screenshot agad ako at sinned kay Franz

F : THANK YOU! IT MEAN SO MUCH FOR THE TEAM!

A : thank you rinnnn

Pagkatapos ko isend yung message bumalik na uli ako sa paggawa ng mga activities naming para matapos ko agad at maipasa na. After finishing my school works, I've decided to scroll on twitter again. Batang twitter 'to e.

I opened my messenger.

A : ay hehe oo

A : HALA HOY WEH?

F : yeh add her na rin sa sss. Add na kita?

Same old routine. Tinapos ko yung mga school works. Naglinis ng bahay scroll sa twitter. And by that time rin alaga ko yung pamangkin ko na si Aira. She's a 3 year old kiddo anak siya ng kuya ko pero ako nag-aalaga kasi both parents ni Aira may work and gabi na nakakauwi kaya ako muna nag-aalaga pati mommy ko which is lola ni Aira. Close kaming dalawang mag-tita siguro dahil din siya yung una kong pamangkin tapos babae pa. ako kasi nag-iisang babae saming magkakapatid middle child tatlo lang kami at lalaki rin yung bunso.

I woke up again with a message from Franz. It was sent at 10:16.pm He sent a message with an attachment of song.
