In a tranquil moment, the sound of flapping wings fills the air, accompanied by the howling wind. The sudden force of the wind jolts me as the window pushes open, sending a cold shiver down my spine. Hastily closing the window, I prepare to retire for the night.
Settling into my bed, I cocoon myself with a thick blanket, attempting to block out the persistent flapping of bird wings. Just as I drift to the edge of sleep, a piercing howl startles me awake.

Quickly, I grab my bow, arrow, and a lamp to illuminate the dark night. Carefully, I step out of my shelter to investigate the creature responsible for the loud howl.
"Who's there?" I utter when I hear rustling from the bushes.
I cautiously approach the bushes to see what or who caused the noise, only to find nothing there. Reassured that there is no one or nothing present, I return inside and resume my slumber.
As the moon sets and the sun rises, I gently sip my coffee as I prepare for the day.
"Daenerys!" someone shouts my name, prompting me to go outside to see a desperate couple standing by my door.
"What is it?" I ask.
"Help us, I beg you," the woman pleads, kneeling on the ground, begging for my assistance.
"On what?" I ask to clarify.
"They are back!" the man exclaims, fear evident on his face.
"Who?" I ask curiously.
"Dragons," the man replies, his wife sobbing inconsolably.
"They've taken our daughter," the woman cries, fearful for her child's safety in the clutches of dragons.
"Dragons are the mortal enemies of humans, but once they were friends until the dragons turned hostile, attacking humans. Many lost their lives to the flames that spewed from the dragons' mouths. Some believe that humans were the first to betray the dragons, though the reasons remain unknown.
To protect humanity from the perils of dragons, five elemental beings bestow upon humans weapons to defend against the dragons.
- Aria, the Guardian of Songs and Silence, grants a magical flute to humans.
- Marina, the Water Weaver, bestows a magical trident upon humans.
- Zephyr, the Sky Sentinel, equips humans with a bow that shoots arrows of pure light.
- Embers, the Flame Guardian, bestows blazing swords upon humans.
- Solara, the Solar Sentinel, gifts humans a celestial staff.
These weapons are bestowed upon the five representatives of the town of Northerville.
