Ezekiel's POV
"Are you hungry?" I asked Xyna while we're heading back to my car.
"Ah h-hindi naman." she said.
Kruuuu~
I chuckled when I heard her tummy growl.
"Hindi pala gutom ah." I teasingly said to her.
She got shy and look away.
We arrived at front of my car. I immediately open the passenger seat's door.
"Get in." I said.
After she got in, I closed her door and get in the driver's seat.
"Let's go to our next destination." I said as I start the engine.
"Ha? Akala ko tapos na dito sa EK."
"Nope. Not yet." I smiled.
I drove the car towards our next destination.
While we're on our way, I noticed that she's not talking.
"Hey." I caller her. She immediately look at me. "Are you okay?" I asked.
"Oo naman. Gutom lang siguro hehe." she shyly said.
Cute.
I smiled. "Don't worry. We're about to eat dinner."
"Okay." she said and smiled at me.
The rest of our trip is covered with silence. Maybe she's really hungry now haha.
A few moments later, we finally reached our next destination.
I parked my car and looked at her. "We're here." I announced.
We got off the car.
She's now looking at the place. "Wow. Ang laking restaurant nito." she said and looked at me. "Sigurado ka bang dito tayo kakain?"
I smiled. "Yep. Let's go sa rooftop. Maganda yung view dun."
She nodded. "Tara."
Pina una ko sya ng konti sa pag lalakad dahil kailangan kong senyasan ang mga crew na andito na kami.
I pick my phone out of my pocket and sent a text message to them.
After I sent the message, I immediately follow Xyna.
Sumakay kami sa elevator para mas mabilis makapunta sa rooftop. Andun din kasi yung pina set up ko kanina.
When the elevator door opens, the colorful lights around welcomed us. There's a table and chairs for us where we can eat dinner later. Since it's in a rooftop, you can see the whole city from here. The whole set up is so breathtaking.
"Wow." She roamed her eyes around and looked at me. "Pinlano mo rin to?"
I smiled and nodded. "You like it?"
"Oo. Ang ganda, Ezekiel." she said.
She's genuinely happy. I can see it in her eyes. I'm also happy that she likes it.
"So, shall we sit?" I asked.
She nodded
I slightly moved her chair backwards para makaupo sya and I sat down too.
I nodded at the waiter for them to serve the food for us.
They served our food and leave.
"Let's eat?" I asked her.
"Sandali lang. Pray muna tayo."
"Okay."
She held my hands, closed her eyes and pray.
While she's praying. I looked at our hands being collided. I also look at her face for a bit before I close my eyes and pray.
It's actually my first time praying before eating a meal. Sa amin kasi kakainin na agad pagka hain ng food. Medyo nakaka panibago lang pero I think it's a must that we should pray before eating. Be grateful.
Thanks to her, I get to realize something like this.
"Amen." she said after praying and open her eyes. "Kain na tayo." she happily said and dig in the food.
"How's the food?" I asked while she's chewing.
"Bat ganito yung pagkain dito?" her eyebrows curved and asked me.
"Why? Napano?" I panicked and asked her.
"Sobrang sarapp!!" she said while enjoying the food in her mouth.
I sigh in relief. "Akala ko naman kung ano na." I said and chuckled.
We enjoy eating the foods that they served habang nagku kwentuhan kami. She told me a lot about herself and her family. They're simple indeed but genuinely happy. I envy her.
In my case, even though I have everything that I want, I don't feel any amount of love from my parents. Mom and dad are always busy with their businesses. Hopefully, they don’t forget that they have a son too. Lol.
After the meal that we ate, they served the dessert and drinks; and that's what we're eating right now.
"Grabe, nabusog ako. Napa sobra ata ang kain ko."
I chuckled. "I'm happy na nagustuhan mo ang pinlano kong date natin today." I said and smiled.
"Gustong gusto. To the highest level ganon!" she said.
"Uhhm, wait. There's more." I said and took the bouquet of flowers and chocolates from a waiter. "Flowers and chocolates for you." I said and gave them to her.
She took them while smiling. "Awww. Thank you." she looked at me. "Halatang sanay na sanay makipag date ah?" she teasingly said to me.
I slowly scratch my nape. "Actually it's my first time doing this. First time ko lang din makipag date." I shyly admitted.
"Weh? Nang jojoke time ka no?" she asked in disbelief.
"No. I'm serious."
"Seryoso? Jowa ba, nagkaroon kana?"
I shook my head.
I wanna say to her that I don't actually doing dates and I do not have a girlfriend yet because they're all just flings and one night stand pero baka bigla syang ma turn off. I mean, baka biglang mag iba yung tingin nya sa akin.
"Edi pareho pala tayo. 1st time ko lang din kasi makipag date at wala pa akong nagiging jowa so far."
"Ohh i see. Well, thank you because you like it. I mean, lahat ng pinlano ko ngayong araw nagustuhan mo." I said while smiling.
We're smiling at each other when a slow music suddenly played.
"Do you wanna dance?" I asked her.
"Ha? Di ako marunong sumayaw."
"It's okay. Sabay kalang." I said and laid my hand in front of her.
"S-sige." she put the flowers and chocolates on the table for a while and took my hand.
I place her hands around my nape and I place mine on her waist as we dance slowly.
We're staring at each other's eyes while dancing.
She's so simple yet so gorgeous. Hindi sya katulad ng mga nadaan sakin na babae na magagaslaw at maaarte. Napaka simple lang nya. Sobrang natural lang. Walang halong kaplastikan sa mga pinapakita nyang ugali or mga sinasabi nya.
I saw her blush. So cute.
I smiled at her and I can feel that my face is getting red too.
Sumayaw lang kami ng mabagal, sabay sa melody ng kantang naka play while staring at each other.
I can feel my heart beat like crazy again but I didn't mind it and proceed in dancing with her.
I feel like the world stopped spinning for a moment while I was dancing with her. It’s like we’re the only people here right now.
It's a little bit weird but that's what I actually feeling right now. And I don't know what is this.
