"Where were you yesterday?" I asked Louise who is currently writing something on her notes. "I was looking for you."
She looked up and smiled at me. "I.....my brother called me to come home early. Sorry kung hindi na ako nakapag-paalam."
I sit beside her. "I tried to call your mobile, even your house but I cannot get through. Itinuloy na lang namin ni Cam yung ginagawa nyong project natin."
"Sorry for that. Low bat din kasi ako," she told me that while looking at her notes. "Huli na nang maalala kong magpaalam sa inyo. Nasa daan na kami ni Kuya."
"You're lying," kunot noong tumingin siya sa akin. "You are not a good liar."
"How can you say that?" her cheeks flushed.
I smiled and pinched her cheeks. "Kasi namumula ang pisngi mo."
Tumawa siya ng mahina at inilayo ng bahagya ang upuan.
